Come cool off in the NC mountains with us on Sunday, August 29th at Linville Falls Picnic Area located between Mile Posts 316 and 317 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We will be at the far end of the picnic area under the large shelter. Look for the Berner signs. Meet at 11 am, bring a picnic lunch to eat or dish to share and then we can take the dogs to play in the river and hike to the Falls.
There are two campgrounds nearby for those interested in making a weekend of it.

Access the picnic area from the Blue Ridge Parkway, not via Camp Creek Road (some GPS take you this way, but the roads don't actually connect).
