Based on their working heritage of pulling farm carts, this is a BMDCA titling event designed for dogs pulling carts and their handlers to work as teams to accomplish specific maneuvers.  Dogs must be at least 2 years old to compete.  Tests are pass/fail.

​The Blue Ridge Bernese Mountain Dog Club hosts an annual Draft Test each spring. Teams spend many hours practicing to hone their skills at pulling carts and correctly maneuvering through a rigid course.  Successful teams earn BMDCA Draft titles.
